| In an effort to develop the Juvenile and Junior Women's National Teams, Head Coach Christian Latulippe held a week-long handball camp at SUNY Cortland. The camp was a success, with both new and experienced young players participating from several locations accross the country. The players participated in training sessions with the Senior Women's National Team, in addition to having extra sessions with Coach Latulippe to develop their individual skills. Camp participants also engaged in video sessions and sports psychology workshops, to help them better undestand what is required of an athlete playing at the National level. This was the first of what the WNT hopes will be an excellent resource for recruiting and training younger athletes for the Women's National Team program. | |
