On May 4, Kathy Darling (Milford, DE) and Katie MacFarlane (Buffalo, NY) officially joined the WNT Residency Program at SUNY Cortland.
Kathy Darling, a 6'2" Johns Hopkins graduate, dominated collegiate track and field, winning three National Championships in discus and javelin, and earning four All-American titles (2000-2003). She also played varsity basketball, leaving a record for the highest field goal percentage in Johns Hopkins history. A 2004 Westpoint graduate and participant in the Army's WCAP program, MacFarlane, 6'0", also brings superior athletic talent to the team. As an undergrad, MacFarlane played on the Varsity basketball team, serving as team captain during the 2003-2004 season. Although she was a 2000 All-American in lacrosse, her greatest athletic legacy includes setting the record as the all-time highest scorer/rebounder in USMA Women's Basketball history. The WNT is excited to have both of these extraordinary women joining the residency program |

Newsflash
| 1st Lt Jennie Choi made the switch from Left Wing to Transportation Officer when she deployed to Iraq in December 2007. Her non-traditional army career earned her a feature in her hometown newspaper, the Santa Clarita Signal. You can read the full article here. Jennie is stationed near the northern city of Mosul, and we hope that comes back to us safely. |
