The WNT is headed to the Women's Senior Pan-American Championship, to be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from 31 May through 4 June 2007. The eight teams in attendance will be divided into two pools based on their finish at the 2005 PACs.

The competition begins with round robin play in two preliminary groups. Countries were placed in accordance with the results of the 2005 Pan-American Championship in Brazil .

 

The two groups are as follows:

 

Group A
Argentina
Uruguay
Dominican Republic
Mexico

Group B
Brazil
Canada
USA
Paraguay


The two top finishers in the qualification rounds will participate in the semi-finals. Those ranked 3rd and 4th will play off for 5th – 8th place.
